Hi,

has anyone managed to get 'Push for Gmail' working on 6.0.2?

I would give it a try but can't download since purchase requires iOS>=6.1

I've read that it would work on 6.0.2 once downloaded - but how to?

Cheers,
Henry

Edit your version.plist in ifile to say 6.1

Thanks, works like a charm!

btw: As I understand, the change was only necessary to enable/allow the dl.
Can I set the version.plist back to 6.0.2 or will this lead to the tweak not working anylonger?

Again thanks,

Henry

You need to keep it on 6.1 otherwise Cydia will uninstall the tweak when you try to install something else.

Can you tell me how you changed it. I just can't get it to work.

Go to /System/Library/CoreServices

The SystemVersion.plist is at the very bottom.

Open the plist (not the plist% !!!) with Property List Viewer and change iOS version to 6.1

Save changes and afterwards reboot the device.
