Push mail not working correctly

This may be the wrong place to ask this, but i'm not sure where else to try. I have email through my local cable company and when I try setting up push mail to my Iphone one works but not the other. Either outlook will work and the phones email will not, or vise versa (phone will work/read emails but outlook will not)

keeping in mind outlook is open on the computer 24/7

I realize it is only letting me use one email client at a time, but is there a way to bypass this?

I say outlook but its actually really an outlook like program called "incredimail"

everything is set up for IMAP.

any suggestions or am i just screwed?
