Guys, my Push seems to have stopped working. If I enter something on my calendar on my computer it doesn't automatically get Pushed to my iPhone.

I have the most up-to-date firmware and mobileme setup and have refreshed everything and still no luck.

The same seems to be happening with my emails. In order for me to have updated emails on the phone I need to open up the Mail application and only then do I get recent emails.

Yup. I've disabled it, re-booted and still no luck.

It picks up new entries upon re-boot, but after that new entries or emails do not get Pushed.

To get new emails, I need to open Mail and then wait till the phone updates all new mail.

Hi again folks.

I've now even resorted to calling Apple Tech Support - who were absolutely useless!

Can anyone please offer any more suggestions to fix this problem?

t-mobile uk

I'm with t-mobile uk and have had officially unlocked iphones for years - until recently (last week or 2) there had been no issues with push email and other notifications.

All over a sudden I noticed that push notifications did not work properly any longer, and I restored the iphone to no avail. then I found this discussion and was ready to phone t-mobile to cancel my long standing contract (must be 9 years! now) with them. However, as of last night/today the push service appears to be working again?

Curious to hear if others have noticed push working again, too?

Jonathan.

Edit: just looked back at the t-mobile forum (link in posts above), and it looks like t-mobile's push issues for iphone have been resolved...

Possible good news guys and gals, my Push seems to have started to work again :D

But I don't want to get too excited just yet. Will wait a few days and see how it goes............

Thanks folks for your help, answers and support :)

AND GUESS WHAT??? It's not working again.

I entered a few new calendar entries onto my Mac then went to a meeting. Looked at my calendar on the iPhone and the entries I entered several hours earlier were not in there.

I then sent some emails to my phone from another email account and they weren't pushed to the phone. I'd have to open up mail in order for the emails to show.

Alas, opening calendar on the phone still didn't make the new dates appear.

APPLE SORT IT OUT
