When will push notification start in 3.0?

As soon as there are apps available to take advantage of it - I suspect there will be a few when 3.0 first goes live and then thousands of apps using push "inappropriately" as it's the next big thing shortly afterwards

Its active right now for developers so as soon as 3.0 hits, it will be global. Apps for the app store must be 3.0 compatible, that means that they can be implementing PUSH immediately.
