Here is what I've done so far
iPhone 3GS new botroom, 6.15 ipad baseband unlocked with ultrasn0w
Using in outside United States with unofficial carrier.
First of all, I have SHSH from 3.1 to 5.0.1
Push notify were working fine until I upgraded to 5.0.1 from 4.2.1 usng custom firmware created by sn0wbreeze (hacktivated). Then push stopped working, I've downgraded to 4.3.3 using custom firmware created by pwntool and sn0wbreeze, activated via original ATT sim card, push didnt work again, then I flashed ipad baseband once again, no luck, bought push fix app for 5.99, no luck, tried SAM trick, no luck, tried push doctor, no luck. tried to update DNS address, no luck, tried on different WiFi networks (BTW, I don't have 3G or EDGE) still no luck.
Upgrade to 5.0.1 again using custom fw (both sn0wbreeze and pwntool) no luck.
So, Whatever I did, it is still not working, I can't get push notifications working, only way I can make it work is to connect to charger then it works. yes it only works while its charging.! isn't weird?
Any guess?
