Push on Lion's Mail app?

Does Lion's mail have the ability to get your e-mail as it arrives like Outlook 2011? I like Lion Mail better than Outlook since it's more integrated, but it doesn't get my e-mail as it arrives, it only checks every minute, which drops the battery life low.

Does Lion support Push? I'm using Gmail IMAP. If I use my Gmail exchange settings that I use on my iPod Touch will that make it push and not fetch?

Gmail has push, but not Yahoo. For Gmail go to Preferences > Accounts > Click on your account > Advanced > check "Use idle command if the server supports it"
