Push...Please clarify

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted some clarification. WIth the new push notifications you can use a badge, sound, or text. Does the push "text" use At&t texts? Or is it completely separate? Thanks

yea its just a notification, not a text that comes from your text package

I think it means that there's a pop-up, like an SMS notification, that has text on it (like getting an IM with the message displayed on the notification).
