PUSH / TAPTAP Question....

When I have push disabled to save my batt life and notifications on (this was put in my settings when I bought taptap) will the badges and alerts in the game still be pushed to my iphone?

Or must you have PUSH ON and NOTIFICATIONS ON to utilize the badge and alerts options in the game??
