pushing e-mails into iphone

hello there
i am new in iphone 3G
i am using Gmail account on my iphone
and it does not work properly
i mean i expect to receive e-mail directly when some one sent me an e-mail, cause i turned on the Push button , but it does not work.
i should check e-mail manually or using Fetch for each 15 mins or 30 mins ...
even like this it happen for me to receive e-mail much later than the time that i chose for checking automatically
what i have to do?

Gmail doesn't have a push service. If you want immediate push, then you need Mobile Me, Yahoo, or Microsoft Enterprise. If you use Gmail, then you need to pick a fetch setting, nothing can be done. Also, you have to learn to use proper grammar if you want quick and easy replies to your questions
