Put 8 gb 1333mhz ram in 2012 macbook

I upgraded my ram to 16gb on my 2011 macbook pro and want to take the 2 4gb 1333mhz sticks and put them in my gf's new macbook pro. Would this ram work or is it incompatible.

Hmmmm.. Perhaps..

When you say both '2012 and new MBP' that is a relative term.. Find the Spec of it on here, and it will almost certainly answer your question.. Good Luck!!
