You know how you can put the current itunes track inside of ichat as ur available message. I was just wondering if it was possible to put the current itunes track under the "location:" thing on the right side of your posts.

1. Note current iTunes track

2. Go to Quick Links -> Edit Profile

3. Go to "Where you live" and type in current track.

Repeat as necessary.

No because then everyone would think ur crazy putting something else besides your actual location in the location.

:D

I like you. ;)

I think this would be hard to do, because the web browser has no way to go information hunting on your computer. That's a *good* thing -- think of how much damage websites could do if they were able to gather data on your computer?

In order to do this, I think you would need some sort of application that lived and ran on your Mac that would feed iTunes information into a cookie or send it to MR in order for the website to be able to put it in your location field...kind of like in the way spyware works.

How would they know if my location is or is not my actual location?

Perhaps I only listen to songs about locations.

Sweet Home Chicago
Hotel California
New York New York
In My Place
Last Train to Clarkesville
