Put extra money into better GHz Xeon or more RAM?

I'm waiting for the update to buy a Mac Pro, but lets just say that I'm buying a Mac Pro today...

Because of the education discount, I will have extra money to put towards the computer. Would I be better off using that money to upgrade the quad-core from a 2.66GHz to a 2.93GHz, or towards an upgrade in RAM?

I realize that the RAM is something that I can always change later, but I was wondering if that change from 2.66 to 2.93 would be worth it.
