Mac M1 mini, Sonoma.

How do I put my mac to sleep after x minutes of inactivity, independent of monitor sleep, which is set to 3 mins. Obviously, I want a much longer interval to put the mac to sleep.

This seems simple but I can't find any way to do it. Googling turned up solutions that no longer apply.

thanks in advance

Thanks. I tried

Code:
sudo pmset -a sleep 5

It did nothing. Then

Code:
sudo pmset -g
System-wide power settings:
Currently in use:
 disksleep 10
 powernap 1
 womp 1
 networkoversleep 0
sleep 5 (sleep prevented by powerd, coreaudiod)
 Sleep On Power Button 1
 ttyskeepawake 1
 tcpkeepalive 1
 autorestart 0
 standby 0
 displaysleep 3

Looks like sleep is prevented

I must have had an app holding on to an audio device without playing any sound. That has stopped and now the Mac can go to sleep

They have a whole mostly empty section Settings > Energy saver. I don't know why they couldn't have put this there

I updated to 15.1 and now the same setting does nothing. pmset -g shows nothing is preventing sleep. Ugh
