I'm a newbie here so apologize if this has been posted before (I couldn't find one about it). I have a mid 2010 model MBP 13" and want to upgrade my RAM from 4 to 8GB. My wife has a mid 2010 Macbook 13" and I want to upgrade the RAM in her computer also. Can I just move my old 4GB's over to her computer?

The recommendation for the the MBP is:
- Double Data Rate Small Outline Dual Inline Memory Module (DDR3) format
-30mm (1.18 inch)
- 2 GB or 4 GB
- 204-pin
- PC3-8500 DDR3 1066 MHz type RAM

But for the Macbook it's:
- Double Data Rate Small Outline Dual Inline Memory Module (DDR SO-DIMM) format
- 30mm
- 1 GB or 2 GB
- 204-pin
- PC3-8500 DDR3 1066 MHz Type RAM

They look almost identical but for the DDR3 vs. DDR SO-DIMM.

I don't want to mess something up, obviously, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Andre
