Hi folks.

I got my new aluminum macbook early this week and it works very well. its my first apple notebook as well and i'm starting to think why did i invest on PCs instead of purchasing Macs.

Anyway, the problem that I face sometimes is when I close the lid of my macbook, it takes about 15-20 seconds for the indicator (right at the front) to start pulsating - however, the interval between each pulse is long - nearly 15-20 seconds and at every pulse my cd drive makes a noise (which is similar to the one that you hear when you start your notebook) and simultaneously the apple symbol on the lid sparks for a second. And this goes on and on. But when I restart my system and then put it to sleep, it sleeps like a baby.

Do you guys have any clue as how I can fix this problem. It doesnt happen all the time, its just a few times that I have seen this. Your thoughts, suggestions will be very valuable to a new macbook user. Thankyou!
