So I saw a forum on here and a guy had the same question I did. It never got answered and I was stuck in a situation last night where I had no choice but to try it. A couple extra tools were needed and more time. But it worked and everyone was happy! Here’s what happened. A good buddy of mine told me his GF needed a new keyboard cause she spilt some water on it. He told me it was a A1466 MacBook Air. Perfect! Ordered keyboard. Of course he waited till the day before his GF was leaving.... to go back home... cause she lives in the UK ♂️. So I tear down the computer, get everything out and the keyboard. I go to put in the new keyboard and to my surprise it doesn’t fit... after a little research I figured out there’s different keyboards!!! I call my buddy and that’s when I found out his GF is from the Netherlands. Lovely. So after modifying the keyboard by removing two bars and filing them down... IT WORKS!!!!!! Here are some pictures to document my work
