Putting CD into the disc drive...

Do I need to do anything other than shove the Cd all the way in?


I put the CD in like 75% of the way and nothing happening... I am afraid to push it all the way in just in case it gets stuck. Does the MBP not suck it in you know?

Just slowly push it in till it sucks it.

Mine works best when I put it in slowly until it pulls it in. If Ishove it all the way it usually gets stuck and makes weird noises and I have to restart.

Don't feel bad about asking noob questions either, it's better to have a couple forum members think you're dumb than to damage your $2k computer.

The first time i put a CD in my drive I thought it was broken or something the noises it makes when it sucks a CD in/out are horrible.
