Putting digital camera video onto iPhone 4...

...What is the best program to do this? All of my videos shot are saved in either .mpg or .avi format by default and there's no option to make it .mp4 or .mov compatible with the iPhone.

I've Googled a bunch of programs but half of them seem shoddy and full of spyware, and I'm not on a Mac so I don't have iMovie. Are there any simple, easy alternatives to doing this?

I like Videora converts nearly any video into a format that works with the iPhone. Only problem is that it doesn't take advantage of the resolution
