Putting in a new hard drive, will Snow leopard CD work?

Hey guys,

I'm upgrading my blackbooks hard drive to 500 GB today, but realized the only CD's I have is the CD for Snow Leopard, will this work for installing the OS? I have my data itself backed up on time machine.

Also, are there CD keys for snow leopard? because I cant seem to find it, and cant remember if there is or not.

Yes, it will work and no cd keys needed.

To date, Apple has not used serial keys with anything except their Pro Apps. There aren't any for SL.
