Putting PDF ebook onto the springboard

Hi everyone,

I have just got an iphone and i want to read ebooks on the iphone,

at the moment i have put some ebooks into the pdf reader application,

but i was wondering whether it is possible to put the pdf onto the springboard for quick and easy access???
