Can you put an iPad into Kiosk mode (disable of screen menu's etc.) while viewing a PDF?

We have a product catalogue that we'd like to display on our iPad at an Exhibition... the iPad stand will disable the home button, but a PDF will still display screen menu's once tapped.

I have seen KioskPro as an App but it does about 1000x more things than we actually need - so I wondered whether there was a dead simple solution out there?

I have done a fair bit of browsing on this, but not found a straight answer... yet I'm sure it's done every day!!

Thanks

Get Kiosk Pro for $3. Except for forms and embedded media, it handles PDFs nicely. You can leave most of the controls at their default settings if you don't want to mess with the options.
