Is there a way to put photos back into the camera roll? WHen i upgraded to 2.0, it didn't put my photos back. I have them all saved on my PC ( you can't view the iphone from a mac, at least as far as i know) but can't get them back unless i make a new folder. Anyone know if this is possible?

It's possible if you've jailbroken your phone.

Here's how it works on 1.1.4 on my 2G phone:
  • Your picture needs a name in the format IMG_1234.JPG
  • You need to create a jpg thumbnail of the pic, size 75x75, same name as the original but change the extension to .THM
  • Copy both pics into the iPhone's DCIM\100APPLE directory using WinSCP
  • Job done

Followed the Instructions but...

Followed the Instructions but when i tried to view the picture on my iphone, it displays it as a video. Im pretty sure that it wasnt a video before... any help?

Edit:I found a really really easy way to do this, if you have wifi just email them to yourself, then use safari to check your email, and just save them on the iphone. Quick, easy, and effective.
