Putting pictures onto my digital camera memory card??

I've recently started traveling and I brought my Macbook with me to put my pictures on, among other things. Now I want to go to a digital print shop so that I can print up some images to send back home. Here's the kicker though, once I put pictures on iPhoto I can't put them back onto the digital camera's XD memory card to take to the store, because the store reads memory cards. I could burn a cd and use that, but a few megs of pictures seems like such a waste of a CD. Are there any programs out there I could use other than iPhoto, or is there a trick I'm just not aware of?
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.
