So I am sure that this has been asked a billion times, but I will ask anyways.

I was thinking about getting purchasing an Iphone from craigslist. Now I am already on an AT&T service plan, so when I do get this phone, do I just put my own sims card that I have in my current phone and put it in the Iphone and call it good like a regular phone? or is their more to this?

Unless you're using an unlocked phone from out of country, AT&T will recognize your phone as an iPhone, and start charging you a data plan.

You can do that with your sim, or simply go to an AT&T dealer and have them do it for you.

You might have to sign a new contract. You'll definitely be required to get a data plan, contract or no.
