iPod putting songs in order for a playlist?

im pretty sure a while ago i was able to make myself a favourites playlist (music for the car), tell the playlist to arrange by number and then change the order of the songs by dragging them up and down?
just been on there and i cant seem to find a way to do it

On your computer you can only drag and drop songs when the SHUFFLE feature is turned OFF. So turn the feature off then you can put them in the order you want.
