I converted 2 movie files to mp4 format for my iphone. one file is 200MB, the other is 800MB. I was able to drag and drop the 200mb file to itunes just fine but when I did the same thing for the 800MB file, it wouldn't go in. No matter what I did, the file just wouldn't go on itunes.

anyone know what the problem is?

Since one of them worked and the other didn't maybe the conversion of the second video had some fault so if you redo it that may solve the problem

could be. I used the same converter, the same setting, etc. I guess I could try again.

just reconverted it...no go.
I basically just drag and drop the video to the "Movies" section of itunes, and nothing happens.

My guess would be it's a formatting issue -- I know you said others of the same format added fine, but that's about the only reason iTunes won't accept a file. Try creating a reference movie and seeing if that will add. This may help to diagnose the problem.
