Hi all

I have a new Macbook pro ( late 2008 ) and its running 10.5.5 OSX

My old Macbook Pro ( january 2008 ) would work fine with Pwnage and QuickPwange.

But I had problems doing a phone today and itunes wouldn't see the Iphone when in DFU mode. Getting an error 2001 message

So I ended up booting into Windows and using vista/quickpwange.

But now I'm reading on all the forums that Apple might have broken the Pwange Tool with the new Macbooks.

Is this a OSX 10.5.5 thing or itunes?

Thanks in advance

It isn't a general 10.5.5 issue or iTunes issue. What is suspected is that the special build of 10.5.5 could have broken it or there is a special build of iTunes that breaks it. The main suspicion falls on iTunes because of special builds of QuickTime and other apps as well.

Windows might be the best option right now if you need to pwn your iPhone. You already did that but other people will want to know.
