My wife uses safari and i use firefox and i noticed quite awhile back that firefox had patched the security hole that hacker found in that pwn2own contest but I don't recall if Safari got updated shortly thereafter. Did it? I could have easily forgotten having agreed to install apple updates. I'm contemplating having her switch to firefox too but i like having different bookmarks and setting w/o different OS "users".

As far as I'm aware, no, it hasn't yet been fixed. I don't think Apple feel it is a major concern, as the details of it haven't been released publicly and there is very little threat to the end user at present. :)

I know that the bug inside of Firefox definitally got fixed... so I would maybe give that a try!!
