Where do you get the error? Like what are you doing when it happens?

If you're getting an error 6 while trying to restore the modified firmware in iTunes and the pwnage tool fails to put your iPod into DFU mode, you'll need to do the following:

mkdir “~/Library/iTunes/Device Support” where ~ is your user directory (usually your name)

Leave your iPhone unplugged until the pwnage tool tells you to plug it in.
