I went to go pwn my first generation iphone and when I went to find the bootloader and the first thing that popped up for the 2.x version iphone software was this article:
http://www.phonenews.com/blog/bl39.bin-bl46.bin-pwnagetool-download-2-365.html
It was written in july, but it basically said that the bootloader is very unstable when trying to do the sim unlocking. I am curious if this is still the case because I want to use pwnage to take a first generation iphone and use it on the att network but without the data activated. (just the wifi) I know there are risks, but am I going to seriously risk bricking the iphone by doing this?
