Pwnage get unknown error 1600, 1601, 2006 pls help

Ok so created custom 2.2.1 ipsw no probs using pwnage tool on unibody macbook. I did the USB on10.5.6 fix thanks to iclarified. I got my 2g into dfu mode according to pwnage tool. But when started iTunes it would change errors from 1600 to 2006 after restarting with custom ipsw.

Now it says it can not recognize iPod in iTunes and then I have to reset phone with no update. It was 2g on 1.1.4 jb by ziphone I think. I need it unlocked. And wanted 2.2.1 but may have to stick with 1.1.4

Any thoughts?
