Hi,

I am well aware of the risk of using Ziphone with an iPhone. I wouldn't like to have my iPhone permanently bricked, or so are the dangers of using Ziphone I have red.

I have used Pwnage Tool version 1.1 very pleasantly, and I look forward to the latest version. I feel it is better with my iPhone than iLiberty+

The issue now is that even though I used the Pwnage tool, my iPhone is neither activated, nor unlocked because I can't erase or downgrade the baseband.

My iPhone's firmware is 1.1.4 (4A102), my bootloader 3.9, and my modem's firmware is 04.05.04_G

Researching your database I found a thread that suggests using Ziphone, to erase the baseband 04.05.04_G

In another thread it is suggested that after erasing or downgrading the baseband, one only needs to retore the iPhone through iTunes.

I have refreained from using anything that may have to do with Ziphone. However, I need something to delete or downgrade the baseband. If you think is ok using Ziphone's ierase by Kiremk please tell me, or if you know of another alternative please let me know.

I am using an ibook G4, iTunes 7.5, and unfortunately my iPhone marks no phone and no internet signal. My iPhone's model no. is A1203,

Thank you very much in advance,

igmolinav.

P.S. It really helps when you guys help us. I don't work in any field related to computer science. I have spent nearly thirty hours this past week trying to work out many things of this iPhone, (not 3G), that was a gift of my uncle about a month ago.
3G iphone owners, (like my uncle now), get all the help they want from the phone company. As a linguist, I hope I am able to have this phone working properly, so I can install the dictionaries that I'll need to use sometime soon. Thank you again !!!
