Pwntunes won't work after reinstalling Cydia-Songs "stop"

I was one of those people that accidentally updated to the latest Verizon update (4.2.8) when it came out in April. I had PWNtunes installed previously and it worked fine. I "re" jailbroke my phone last week. I can't get PWNtunes to work. I connect it up. I can drag and drop songs..Itunes imports the songs into the library, but when I hit play..the song comes up briefly-no audio is heard..then it goes back. Not sure what I am doing wrong here..Any assistance is appreciated..
