Q about Camino.

Hey everyone. I have Camino. Every website has been fine except Xbox.com. It comes up as a white screen with black text. I booted up Safari and checked it out; and Xbox.com displays perfect.

So what do I have to download for Camino to read/display the site right?

thats odd. does it to me too. i honestly have never seen this happen before!
i wonder if it renders correctly in FireFox since that is a gecko based browser as well. and if so, what about Camino causes this. perhaps submit a bug report for Camino to get it looked at. right now i have no idea.

Spoof the user agent to Firefox's and it works perfectly.



You used to be able to use CamiTools but it isn't available any more. It's an XBox live problem, try complaining the the website.

Sorry nadamac wasn't letting you download it before now there is just a big "Use this software only with Camino 1.0.x" on the site. I am using the nightlies with it fine though but apparently the 1.1beta doesn't work with it (god knows where you get that from), I was clearly wrong .

The beta? You can get it here. Technically not a stable release but it works nicely for me. It has a spell-checker which I really like.

As far as I know, the nightly builds are of 1.1. They are improved versions of the beta that's been released.
