I am having an issue with the audio switching from my rMBP to my thunderbolt display when the display is plugged in.
Initially the audio would just transfer to the display speakers and then when the display was unplugged it would go back to the laptop speakers.
Now the audio doesn't switch at all and I do not know what I did to cause that issue. I have to manually switch to USB for output when the display is connected (not too much of a problem, just inconvenient). But, when the display is unplugged the audio defaults to 2CH Soundflower, thus not playing audio on the laptop speakers.
1. Is sound flower necessary? Should I uninstall it?
2. Anyone have any idea what my issue may be? I recently installed a VM through parallels, don't know if that had something to do with it.
