Q. about the infra-red system on my iMac.

SO the remote works on ir.
I thought,

My mobile phone ( Sony Ericsson W200i) has no bluetooth, so i need to use ir to transfer things.
Is it possible to connect my phone and my mac for transfers aso.?
Its a really complicated work to be done, to get it up and runnin, so i wonder if it is even possible?
How ?

If you're talking about an iMac G3 when the front infrared port then I don't think that OS X has the drivers for such.

If you're talking about an iMac with Front Row Remote then, no.
