Q Emulator Slow on G5

Just decided to try and see how well this runs on my G5 but it actually doesn't run any better then my G3 900 ibook with half as much memory. I'd just like to see if I can play my old C&C games with Windows 98. I would have thought that this G5 would run it so much better where it would actually be "playable" but turns out it's not. Would VM or Parallels run Win98 or XP any better at playable speed?

I just like my old classic C&C games and would like to play them on a mac.

VM or Parallels won't run on a G5.

And at the price/performance of Virtual PC - it's more affordable and easier to buy an old PC for <$100
