Greetings,

My MacBook battery is not charging. What could cause this?
A1342

- MacBook works with battery until drained.

- Light on magsafe plug is dim or not lighting.

- Power adapter is new.

- Battery is new.

- Magsafe board is new.

- I reset the SMC.

Can someone with knowledge of the logic board components tell me which could cause this?
How to do diagnostic?
Push me to right way

Thanks

It's not necessarily an issue with the logic board. Even though they're new, you could have a faulty battery or charger. Have you tried other chargers? (if you have access to other MagSafe adapters). You can also take it to Apple. They can diagnose the problem quickly.

This should answer most, if not all, of your battery questions:

i want to learn how to repair logic board on component level
i bought few broken laptops

when i unplugged everything
and mug safe adapter is in the bright green light is flashing...(no power)

when connect a battery it does run but not charging... and there is no any light on mug safe adapter
