Hi all,

I am an administrator of public technology at a library. We are looking to integrate Macs into our services. We are interested in using OSX's native "Guest Mode" because it wipes the user profile clean after users log out. This is extremely helpful so that way we do not have a build up of patron data on our machines between users. For this reason, we are not exploring setting up a second "profile" with low level permissions because there's no real way to enforce that patrons do not make adjustments/changes to our computers + there's the possibility of patron data being left behind.

Anyway, what I would like to do but I am having difficulty finding instructions on - is permanently modifying MacOS' "Guest Profile" defaults. Has anyone done this before? I know that I need to go into the Guest Profile, make the changes that I'd wish to have set as the defaults, and switch back to the Admin user. But... once I'm back in the Admin profile, I need to make changes to OSX's system defaults but I'm not sure where to start.

Ideas?
