Q: One single disk, APFS and HFS+, all bootable?

...before trying again to install a new system.
External disk:
I like to get all partions bootable, and also have access to the HFS partitions with an older system.

Is it possible, and if yes, initializing in what sequence?
Something special to respect or to know?
