I put this in the General Tech... maybe its better here

My kid just got a tiny toy digi camera called Q-See 513K
The CD is all PC all the time. The software they use in Unlead -
so I goto that website and download a trial Mac version - it
works... but it does not see the camera when plugged in.

Any ideas on how to get thte pics off the camera & onto my Mac?

Thanks

Does iPhoto or Image Capture work? The Unlead software is really more of a viewing software (I think) and does not contain the drivers for the camera. If Image Capture doesn't work, you might be out of luck. Did you check the manufacturers site for drivers or firmware updates?

Those cheapie keychain cameras almost always use some sort of proprietary image download software/drivers, and as such they almost never work with a Mac (certainly not with iPhoto or Image Caputer).

There may be a piece of shareware out there that lets you get stuff out of these cameras but I haven't run across one.
