QEMU and windows 10 guest on Macbook x86

Hello,

This is the first post in Macrumors so nice meeting you all.
I am trying to find if there is a guide on how to install Windows10 in QEMU.
I am interested to run Win10 on a MacBook Pro 15 2018.
I have never really meddled with QEMU and the few things I managed to find googling, I have little success in doing so. Also, most articles are on how to run Ubuntu on Mac or how to run Mac on another OS.
Many people say the qemu is much faster than other virtualization software (vmware workstation, virtualbox) so I thought I may give it a go on a Mac.
I am not really into gaming for this specific venture. I have another windows desktop for gaming. My main goal is some applications that are not yet fully-featured on the web (PowerBI, Visio, Project etc)

Any help or pointer would be much appreciated.

There is already a comprehensive thread about this subject on MacRumors. Probably you can find a lot of info there.

I am sorry. I answered to quickly the link I provided is all about installing Win10 on an M1 Mac. I now see that you are talking about a 2018 MacBook Pro.
