Hi!

Just need a little advice really.....

I recently bought the following Qi charger for my iPhone 8 Plus:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01K384NM4/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I3F6OMWM8S0T3R&colid=OXEVRGMGDDET&psc=1

....however, even though this works fine, the actual charge given off is extremely slow.:(

It doesn't have its own power supply as its plugged into one of these:

As an example, last night, got home at around 7pm and my 8 Plus was on 18% battery in Low Power mode. Put the phone on the Qi charger and let it charge.

So onto this morning, and took my phone off the charger at 7am (so it had a good 12 hours of charging on the Qi charger) and my phone was only charged up to 91%??!

Additionally, I always notice that whenever I do place my phone on the Qi charger, the charge on my phone will start to drop first before it starts to go up. i.e. If I place my phone on the charger and its showing 20%, after an hour or so, the phone's charge will drop to less than 20% (sometimes as far as 17%) before it later starts to charge normally and go higher than 20%??? This makes no sense?!?!

Is there a UK power adaptor that I can buy in order to make the Qi charger charge faster?

I had a similar problem and the issue was that the power supply didn't provide enough power to the charger. I had 2 pads drawing from the same power supply - Even if the advertised numbers say that it would work it didn't.
It works fine with only 1 pad.
So do you have other devices drawing power from the power supply? If yes try removing them and leave only the pad
