Finally got my solution for wireless charging.

I bought this adapter:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OEVKNNK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and now using this case:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NFZN004/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I already have 2 tylt Qi chargers.

This solution will work temporary. Only thing that this is not good for is I have to disassemble it if I want to use the cable to charge while traveling or want to sync with iTunes.

Just an fyi : This is not a smart a$$ question . . .

If you have to plug an adapter into the iPhone which then needs to be put on a wireless charging base which then needs to be plugged into a wall . . . what's the appeal/point of wireless charging? Why not just plug in the phone for charging?

Again - just curious.

Put down and forget. Pick up effortlessly. I can see the appeal, though not having it built-in makes it not worth the effort IMO.

The appeal for me is being able to set it down and pick it up without having to plug and unplug. It also sits at an angle so I can see it while working and not working about the cable being bent.

My ideal solution is a case that has it built in but this will be my temporary solution till I find a case that has it built in and allows for a micro usb to be attached to it when needed.

Got it, thanks.

I've just left a galaxy s5 with wireless charging for the iPhone 6 plus and one of the things I'll miss is the simplicity of wireless charging, especially in the car. So much more convenient to drop the handset on a charge plate or in a dock with a charge plate built in.
