Qi question

i cant seem to find if the S4 can charge with a standard Qi supported charger or does it only charge with included disc. Samsung has a Duo charger that can charge a phone and watch at the same time.

The Apple Watch is based on the Qi system but uses some proprietary "trickery" that keeps it from working with standard Qi charging pads. Qi is an open system so Apple is free to make changes. Oddly they don't do this in the iPhone X (it is standard Qi) and presumedly in the XS/XS Max.

I knew about the S3 and below but was/am hoping they do standard Qi for the S4.
