Qmaster Menu Bar Indicator

I don't understand what the Qmaster menu bar indicator
is telling me. I have a cluster set up with 8 instances (1
per core of a Mac Pro). The distributed rendering would
appear to be working as the activity monitor shows a lot
of compressord activity:

But the menu bar indicator has 1 green light and says
0 active? What on earth is that supposed to mean?
