Is there something wrong with my network? Both of my Mac mini and NAS are connected to a gigabit router (Linksys E4200). It so happen that I have copied a 20GB file from my Mac to the NAS having only 20 to 30Mbps transfer rate. Is this normal, or the transfer rate should be more than I am having right now?

Do you literally mean a single file at 20GB? Or a folder with a total of 20GB inside. If it's the folder, many small files will transfer much slower than the single large one due to network encapsulation delay.

Ahh, now I see why. It's a folder with a total of 20GB. Thank you.
