I'm getting a The operation can't be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code - 50). when trying to delete folders (including container type structures).

In googling this issue, I saw a recommendation disable or enable/disable the network recycle bin yet that failed to resolve the issue. It was disabled as I originally turned that feature off on my Qnap.

Trying to delete the folders within the web file manager fails too, though the error message is a bit less expressive It just says failed to delete.

I'm not sure what else I can do, as I'm on the latest firmware patch for the QNAP, and I'm on 10.8.4 for my Mac.

I've rebooted both the mac and the QNAP which didn't resolve the problem either.

I ran some diagnostics on the drives and its coming back error free and the smart status is Good.

I fixed the issue by downgrading the firmware, I went to a version I knew worked and so far things are performing as they ought too.
