Hi Guys,

I hope this is the correct section to post the question to.

Recently I found a QREncoder OS X app and have been toying with writing my own QR codes. I've just realised that I could use QR or indeed barcodes in part of my work to make a certain job a bit easier and hopefully avoid any mistakes.

In my job, I have to oversee a certain amount of flight cases roll off a truck in the morning, and at night, oversee the correct amount of cases roll back onto the truck. The cases are all different sizes, colours, sometimes some are even holdalls.

I'm looking for an iOS app that will scan (preferably) QR codes placed on these flightcases and check them off against a list or database. It would be handy to have the option of adding dimensions, weights, list of contents and a photo of the case. It would be great to walk along a line of cases and simply multi scan all the codes and then check down the last to see if a case was missing. It would save SO much time and ensure that a case didn't get left behind. Its never happened to me, but I have heard of cases get left behind in different countries. That could be expensive to resolve.

The app would preferably be an offline option.

I've been searching for days on the app store for such app. I've looked at inventory apps, moving house apps, and have only found one app that came close called "Moving Day", which it seems isn't being developed anymore or available on the App store.

I hope I can post a link here:

https://sensortower.com/ios/us/mighty-ants/app/moving-day/450283321

It has everything I would ever need to cover this job.

Has anyone come across or indeed use a similar app for a similar application?

Thanks in advance for your help
