Hey guys, I've been reading around but it seems like most people have problems with the Magsafe burning. I just bought this new laptop and I'm having a problem with basically the power supply sparking at the end where it is connected to an outlet. (Not exactly the outlet, but the spark comes from where the end that comes from the outlet connects to the power supply) It does this after it's been plugged in for a bit, and then you can also smell the burn at the contact... the light on the magsafe also turns off. When I re-plug it, it works okay for a bit then does the same thing again. If some of you guys can answer these questions, it'll be very helpful.
1. Will this mess up my MBP? Or has it messed it up already?
2. Is it something wrong with perhaps the PMU or is it strictly the magsafe power supply itself??
I just bought this MBP and it's disappointing to see this happen.
